Thanks to a grant from The Women's Fund of Essex County: In her own words - Maria M, student at Merrimack Valley Immigrant and Education Center (MVIEC) in Lawrence "I'm happy to report that after two years of hard work and a tremendous amount of guidance and support from MVIEC, I have successfully passed my USCIS citizenship interview and will soon attend my oath ceremony and become a Citizen of the United States of America! I am beyond grateful to this amazing group of caring and resourceful individuals. They never gave up and neither did I."
